Its Sleep out for Sanctuary time again in November, your chance to experience how it feels to sleep rough in Pier Road Car Park on either 20th or 21st November. There will be full social distancing organised due to the present restrictions, and the hope is that lots of money can be raised for those who need our support over the winter period. Who is this for?? Everyone!
Talk Money Week is a great opportunity to join, start or lead the conversation. It’s for anyone who wants to manage money better, or any organisation working to help people deal with money matters. Organisations can also use the week to learn more about financial wellbeing and what it might mean for them and their customers. Talking openly about money is vitally important for our health, wealth and relationships. The effect of Covid-19 has made it more important than ever to start conversations about money.

14th November - World Diabetes Day
This is a good opportunity to learn more about diabetes, how it can affect us and those around us, and what we can do to reduce our risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.

19th November - International Men's Day
On November 19 International Men's Day celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. The theme this year is 'better health for men and boys'.
November is now known as Movember!! Its a great chance for all men to grow a brilliant Mo'stache and be sponsored to do so. All the money raised goes to men's health charities, in particular those that help people with prostate and testicular cancer as well as men's mental health and suicide awareness.
