Wooden Gifts
The Wooden Gifts project uses donated wood from the Acorn Woodshack and transforms it into unique products to sell in the Acorn shop. Small pieces of wood are gently sanded, painted, stencilled or waxed and turned into fabulous gifts.
Items such as small wall signs, plant labels, doorstops or decorative cubes for the home are produced, with the support of a tutor/staff member.
Within this project, you will work on producing one bespoke item at a time and focus on the quality and finish of the product. You do not need to be artistic to access this project but you do need to be interested in learning art/craft skills and techniques.
